There is also another pattern design on them which is in black, & very faint, so it accents it nicely, but doesn't detract from their cool design. They are trimmed in red, and the inside is red of the oven mitts, as well as the back (bottom) side of the hot pad. It is stitched in a quilted-like pattern. The material is thin (not thick like the ones you typically buy today). I don't know what the material is. I did not see any tags, so I don't know the brand or if they are handmade. They fit so nice!! Better than any I have ever had from the selection available today, at least, of the ones I have personally tried. They would make great decor for a Mid Century Modern style kitchen. Measures approximately: Oven Mitts 13" long x 7" (incl. thumb) Hot Pad 8 1/4" diameter Condition: Very Good vintage, used condition! I saw a few tiny loose threads, but it still appears to be intact, as I didn't see any major issues, tears, or holes. I did not see any burn marks or any discoloration. The colors are actually very rich, deep, & vibrant! They don't look faded at all. I didn't see any food stains. They are VERY NICE overall!
