I wear a size 38 belt and when I put it around my waist, the ends did not touch but I'm a man and I believe this is a ladies belt. For your consideration is this vintage (1950s, 1960s), nice looking ladies leather, hand tooled belt with butterfly leather buckle. I am not totally sure I have the era correct, but I am basing that opinion on the estate sale I purchased it from about twenty years ago from an elderly couple in their 80s. I found the belt in a lot of leather scraps and tools. I have the rest of the lot under a separate listing which might help you date it. There is an old zipper in that lot marked ZEE which is the first Asian zipper company that started in 1956 according to an online source. With that information, I will let the knowledgeable decide how old this belt is. Approximate measurements: 43" from end to end and just under six ounces unpacked. However, I think this might be a 33 or 34, but I'm guessing  Please disregard any light, dark areas, reflections or shadows in the images.
