The tags is missing but this is in new condition just having been in careful sealed storage. This jean bag does not have a closure. I could not find a date on the sewn in tag. All of my Hello Kitty items were acquired when I started an on-line  store in Japan in 1995. So all of my items were 'only' sold in Japan and are between 1995 and 2005. When I moved back  to the states I brought all of my stock with me. They have all been in temperature controlled storage and stored in sealed bins. MY STORE FEEDBACK IS EXCELLENT!
