Here we have a beautiful early model hand painted porcelain SCALLOP SHELL SERVING BOWL made in Limoges, France displaying various gold floral and line designs. Here we have a beautiful early model hand painted porcelain SCALLOP SHELL SERVING BOWL made in Limoges, France displaying various gold floral and line designs. The bottom is marked, "FRANCE."   It measures approx. 9-3/8" long x 8-3/4" wide x 2"-3" side/end high, can hold up to 28 ounces...to the brim.  It is in great maintained (barely/hardly used) condition with no chips or cracks or crazing, no gold loss, no damage noted...appearing to have had little or no use. Came from a well cared for private home collection of many years, however the exact age is unknown, circa 1950's. This item weighs approx. 1-1/2 lbs., add 2 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.  Payment and shipping...
