Here we have a pair of beautiful fine quality porcelain DOLPHIN SPILL * VASES made by BELLEEK of Ireland.  Shaped similar to a genie's lamp, they have leaf-pointed tops, two dolphin fish side handles on long necks, scallop shells on the bulbous bases.  The exterior bottoms marked with the green "6th Mark" (equals/dated 1965-1980, photo #8.) NOTE : * Spills refers to thin wooden sticks or twisted paper or slivers of wood used for lighting purposes (before the advent of matches) to ignite fires, candles, lamps or pipes.  Spill vases were typically kept on a mantelpiece.     Each measures approx. 6-3/8" high x 2-1/4" in top opening diameter x 4" wide (from dolphin to dolphin.) Both are in great maintained (displayed) condition with no chips or cracks or crazing, no damage noted...appearing to have had very little to zero use.  Came from a well cared for private home collection of many years, however the exact ages are unknown, circa 1965-1980.  This item set weighs approx. 1 lb., add 2 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased. Payment and shipping...
