Handwoven with a  knotted pile front  and  flatwoven striped back , a typical construction for Persian tribal saddlebags used on pack animals. The front features a geometric field with strong color contrast and a well-defined border. Colors include saturated blues, teal, coral, and orange, with good retention and natural variation consistent with age. The back retains its original horizontal stripe design, and the top edge still shows its original attachment loops. Size:  22" x 24" Condition:  Good antique condition with age-appropriate wear. Pile is low in some areas but present overall. Minor edge wear and irregularity consistent with use. Structurally sound and displays well.
