A FOUNDER'S GRADE FROG MECHANISM for a Stanley No. 8 or 8 C jointer plane by STANLEY. This frequently damaged part retains more than 95% of its original black japan finish and it is in excellent working condition. This frog came from a "Type 13" version of the No. 8. It could be put directly to use on a Stanley No. 8 size plane of Types 10 through 14. The original screws and washers to secure the frog mechanism to the plane body are included as well.
