Crafted in solid 925 Sterling Silver, this 1960s/1970s studio piece features an organic, abstract "birds nest" or "starburst" design. The heavily textured, spiky sterling structure is deeply oxidized to create dramatic contrast, perfectly showcasing a beautiful, vibrant faceted purple Amethyst gemstone prong set at its center and smaller Ruby stones at each point. Rather than a traditional pin-back, the reverse features two integrated parallel loops, making this a highly versatile piece of wearable art. It can be styled beautifully as a statement scarf slide, a clip for a silk wrap, or threaded onto a thick leather cord or silver collar bar to be worn as a pendant.
