House & Toy Museum during the last quarter of the 20th Century 1960's to 1980's. The Washington D.C. dollhouse museum played host to the children of Presidents and Diplomats. She was very active and influencial in the dollhouse and minitatures hobby and many of her houses were actually shown in the museum and elsewhere in the Washington D.C. area. Lot of 8.  1:12 scale dollhouse miniature brass candlesticks modeled after classic 19th-century English Victorian beehive styles.  They feature an intricate knop-stem design with a distinctive hexagonal bases.  Molded metal with a aged gold/brass finish, mimicking antique heavy brassware.  Perfectly sized fireplace mantle or dining room table decorations in vintage or traditional dollhouses.  Vintage and from the 1980s.  About 1" tall. My dollhouse items came out of an estate of an avid collector who was active in the  revered   Washington Dolls? House & Toy Museum during the last quarter of the 20th Century 1960's to 1980's.  The  Washington D.C. dollhouse museum played host to the children of Presidents and Diplomats.  She was very active and influencial in the dollhouse and minitatures hobby and many of her houses were actually shown in the museum and elsewhere in the Washington D.C. area. Please note:  some items may have dollhouse adhesive remaining on their undersides as they were used and shown in dollhouses.  Easily removed, but I will leave that to the buyer.   Buy with confidence - check my feedback!
