Up for sale is a truly stunning, mid-century Infant Jesus of Prague devotional statue in immaculate condition.  This is a highly collectible vintage piece cast in chalkware/plaster and features exceptional hand-painted detailing on the face, hair and crown.  The back of the gold-painted base is clearly incised with the authentic Italian-line export maker mark "B-B" and model catalog number 1004. This statue is in pristine vintage condition.  The delicate fingers, face, and tips of the crown are entirely intact, which is incredibly rare for chalkware of this era.  Includes the full, original ornate outfit ensemble.  It comes dressed in a beautiful white lace dress adorned with intricate beaded floral designs and sequins.  Also included is an extra matching lavender velvet cape with stunning gold trim and beads.   The fabrics are clean, crisp and beautifully preserved!  The decorative floral patterns are made of tiny beads attached with original factory adhesive.  Please note that due to age, the glue has dried in a few spots, causing some loose beads to fall off.  All loose/detached beads have been collected and are included in a small bag with the purchase so the new owner can easily re-adhere them if desired. 11" tall, this is the highly desirable cabinet/altar size perfect for display without taking up too much room.
