They are opaque. The white necklace has a bead on the clasp is rounded. The longer outer strand measures about 20 5/8 inches long. The inside shorter strand is about 19 inches. The drop when clasped is about  9 inches. The red necklace has a faceted bead surface on the clasp. The outer strand is about 23 1/2 inches, the inside is about 21 inches long. The drop when clasped is 10 inches.
