From the very beginning both basketball and street culture loved them. adidas Superstar became an icon of pop culture through the legend of rap - RUN DMC and their hit song "My adidas"! JMJ and company loved Superstars to the extent that they devoted their song to them. During one of the routes at the beginning of the 80's managers of the company under the sign of the Three Stripes appeared behind the scenes. What was their astonishment when during this particular song, at the request of the group, fans raised their hands with several thousand "pure white shells"! We didn't have to wait long for next step - adidas proposed RUN DMC a contract worth $ 1 million - first such high payment in the world of sport and music! Fans of Superstar model and RUN DMC crew saw a few special editions dedicated to them! Superstars also had a special exclusive edition of "Made in France", produced from high-quality materials in France! Their hallmark was unusual gold logo on a black background placed on the tongue! In 1990, adidas followed their luck and let out Superstar II model, which was designed for skateboarders. It characterized by a thicker tongue and collar around the ankle. Thanks to phenomenal design of adidas Originals Superstar, over the years they retained their original form and made only adjustments for your convenience. As befits such a classic, original details, such as the characteristic three stripes, the legendary rubber toe cover in shape of shell or herringbone outsole were not forgotten. These women’s sneakers have a simple, elegant upper, made of natural leather. It forms a tonal whole together with the upper. The perforations in the side panels are responsible for proper ventilation. Inside there’s a lining of textile material, a counter and tongue of synthetic leather and a removable OrthoLite® insert.
