The pictures do not do this dish justice as the black with gold is stunning. Based on the research that I have done t his dish was hand painted somewhere between the 1920's and 1940's. The mark on the bottom is attributable to the Hutta Yu Shoten & Company. Their logo depicts a cherry blossom. The dish is about 8-1/2 inches across. It is about 1 inch deep. There are no chips or cracks but both sides are crazed. The pictures do not do this dish justice as the black with gold is stunning.  I've had this piece long enough. It's time to find a new home.
