Several stones show natural-looking color variation and matrix or banding, giving the pair lots of character. Striking sterling silver multicolor gemstone hoop earrings featuring a wonderful assortment of brightly colored rectangular stone cabochons set individually around the fronts of the hoops. The stones create a colorful Southwestern look in shades of turquoise blue, deep blue, purple, pink, green and reddish orange. Several stones show natural-looking color variation and matrix or banding, giving the pair lots of character. Each stone is individually framed in silver, creating a segmented mosaic/inlay appearance around the substantial curved hoops. The earrings are marked 925 for sterling silver. There is also a second, much lighter and difficult-to-read mark, but I have not been able to identify it with certainty and therefore am making no specific maker attribution.
