VINTAGE PAIR MOTHER OF PEARL Pierced Earrings -  These were screwback earrings (screwback was defective) which I converted to pierced with new findings.  One side (slightly convex) is reflective and pearly, the other side is slightly concave and flatter.  I posted a picture showing both sides, side by side.  I also posted a shot that shows the original pair. The character cut into the earrings is a stylized, artistic variation of the traditional Chinese character 壽 (shòu) .
