The jacket is in good overall condition and is very lightweight, warm and technical. It can also be worn as an inner layer under another jacket. It has a two-way front zipper. Please check the measurements for the best fit. Vintage The North Face Summit Series down jacket, Japanese version. The jacket is in good overall condition and is very lightweight, warm and technical. It can also be worn as an inner layer under another jacket. It has a two-way front zipper. There are some repairs/patches on the jacket, which are visible in the photos. These were already present when I purchased it. There were some worn areas that have been repaired with patches. There was also a small hole under the arm/armpit area that had previously been repaired with adhesive tape. I did not make this repair — I bought the jacket in this condition. The original tape covered a larger area, and over time the adhesive soaked into the fabric, leaving visible marks/stains. When I first bought the jacket, there was considerably more yellowish adhesive residue, but after several washes most of it has disappeared, leaving mainly the stains you can see now. I have photographed the area from different angles so you can clearly see the condition. Most of the marks are located under the arm/armpit area, so when the jacket is worn, only a small part of them is visible. The area could potentially be treated professionally or repaired/replaced by a good tailor if desired. The down is still in very good condition and is not clumped. The jacket remains very lightweight, functional and highly technical.
