It is more than likely German, Japanese or Italian but we see no specific wording or markings on it.  It is partially covered in some moss or straw natural or other type material.  It is very nicely made and of nice quality. The set includes six child-sized pieces depicting the nativity scene, with a focus on Jesus and Mary & Joseph as well as a Sheep and Cow.  They are all attached on the base of the manger - so they won't get broken.   This is a nice set to present to a child as it is well made and is attached to help prevent breakage. This is a really nice set and has a wonderful look and feel - from the Christmases of old.  This may be from the 1940s-1960s although not sure.  It is very pretty.  and well made.. The materials used are predominantly wood, giving the set a classic and timeless feel.
