Vintage hand-painted oval Christmas decorative box featuring a folk art angel surrounded by red roses and gold accents. The lid is completely hand painted with a large blue-eyed angel portrait, floral decoration, gold star-like accents and a green and gold striped edge. The sides of the box are painted with the Christmas carol phrase “Angels We Have Heard On High.” Signed on the lid “Sharon” with a copyright symbol and the number 1193209. Artist has not been further identified. Constructed of a firm paperboard/cardboard-type material with a removable fitted lid.
