Marked Charles of the Ritz on black inside portion near hinge. It has the mirror & original powder puff (puff is cracked/dry & well used). It has no powder in it. Powder is all gone/empty & puff is cracked, dried out & WELL USED. T his is a lovely vintage make up compact made by Charles of the Ritz in the USA.   It is made in a textured goldtone metal with a jeweled inset in the top with a pink glass or plastic stone & rhinestones.  It has the mirror & original powder puff (puff is cracked/dry & well used).  It has no powder in it.   Marked Charles of the Ritz on black inside portion near hinge.     Compact measures just over 2.5" x 2.25" at longest/widest points.      Item is in good/vintage/used condition. May have some light scratching due to age/use.  Powder is all gone/empty & puff is cracked, dried out & WELL USED.  The inside black base appears to have what may be a glue mark.  Not quite as noticeable in person as the photo shows but a base may have been glued in at one point in time.  Could benefit from a cleaning.  Have included a pouch that was with the compact when I bought it.  Do not know if it is original to piece.   Please see close ups on photos as they are part of the description.
