This is a contemporary Japanese sake pitcher. It has a brown braided cord around the throat and bears a Samurai Figure with oriental script. This pitcher is in wonderful, like new condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing or staining. Please note, that any white spots are from reflections, and not damage or discoloration The piece is not marked, but appears to be Japanese in origin, and would work well for display. It has pinched sides for grasping, and it measures around 4.5" in height and about 3.75" across the body at it's widest point.
