View Lot 15 Large HSS Drill Bits USA Silver & Deming 1/2" Reduced Shank 5/8" to 7/8" with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. 5 Silver & Deming style bits with 1/2" reduced shank, approx. 7" overall (longer than the standard 6"). Sizes: 5/8", 23/32", 3/4" (x2), 7/8". One of the 3/4" has tool marks on the body above the collar. Lot of 15 used high speed steel drill bits from an old shop box. I have not sharpened or tested them. What's here: 5 Silver & Deming style bits with 1/2" reduced shank, approx. 7" overall (longer than the standard 6"). All marked HS USA with the same maker's mark, an M inside an octagon. Sizes: 5/8", 23/32", 3/4" (x2), 7/8". One of the 3/4" has tool marks on the body above the collar. 1 more 23/32", same maker, with chuck damage on the collar and marks on the shank 1 large bit with the shank turned down smaller than 1/2" and scored at the end. No readable size stamp. 1 large taper shank bit (looks like Morse taper), tang broken off, heavy rust. Included as-is. 7 smaller bits, jobber length, about 4-1/2" to 5-1/2" long. Readable sizes: 5/16" (x2), 11/32", 3/8", 25/64", 27/64". One unmarked or unreadable. Makers include PTD (Precision Twist Drill) and Hanson, most marked USA. Mixed finishes.
