This piece features a stunning "brick" or grid pattern constructed entirely from high-grade, natural white (slight pink tinge) mother-of-pearl. Because of the expert hand-cut orientation of the shell tiles, the bracelet catches the light beautifully, shifting with a soft, radiant luminescence from every angle. The stone work is set flush into a classic flat sterling silver band. Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition: Exceptionally well-preserved. Flawless Inlay: There is absolutely no yellowing, no loose tiles, and no structural cracking to the delicate mother-of-pearl. The silver has developed a lovely patina from age. May be polished if desired. Band: The sterling silver band is lightweight and slightly flexible, allowing for easy, comfortable adjustments to fit your wrist. The band width measures ~ 3/8” and the length ~ 5” plus 1” gap. It fits a smaller wrist. Hallmarks & Origin:The reverse side is hand-signed/scribed with a faint, shallow vintage electric-pen signature reading "ANC N. Mex." (or SNC N. Mex.) featuring a distinctive cursive first initial. This is most likely a classic 1960-70s regional registry hallmark used by an authentic New Mexico artisan workshop line during the height of the Southwestern jewelry movement. Not marked for sterling but this was common for older pieces.
