Vintage 1990s M.A. Hadley Pottery Lamb dinner plate featuring Hadley's whimsical hand-painted country folk-art design. The approximately 11-inch dinner plate features a blue-outlined lamb/sheep with distinctive wavy fleece, standing on green grass and surrounded by warm peach/tan floral accents, cloud and bird details. Hadley's characteristic blue bands surround the central scene. The underside bears the hand-painted M.A. Hadley signature. This plate has known family provenance. It was purchased new during the 1990s from Hadley for inventory in a family-owned gift shop. It was later used as household dinnerware before being placed into storage. Because this plate was actually used as dinnerware, it shows extensive glaze crazing along with normal signs of age and use. Crazing is visible across the central decoration and other areas of the plate. Please review the photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the condition description.
