The side of the ring shank is not soldered onto the top of the ring on one side. Makes it nice and easy to slide over larger knuckles. Can be soldered though. The size 8 ring weighs 7.7 grams and measures 1 & 3/16ths inch tall.  A  great addition to your collection.
