This listing is for a beautiful American Brilliant Period tall cut glass compote, c. 1880-1900. The compote is decorated with multiple patterns with a scalloped-cut upper rim and a triangle design with multiple cuts and pinwheel pattern in between the points of the triangle. The wide stem is cut in horizontal panels with zipper cut edges and is further decorated with two horizontal cut bands around the center. Deep star cut on the base.   Measures 9" high, 6" top diameter with a 4 7/8" base. Weighs just under 3 lbs. This nice compote is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws although there are minor surface scratches on the base from normal wear.
