The plates are hand painted, scalloped and gilded along the edge. Description: I originally bought these wonderful plates in NJ at auction. Although unmarked, with the help of a European porcelain group, I've been able to discern that that are RS Germany. The plates are hand painted, scalloped and gilded along the edge. The plates are decorated with violets and the green fades from dark to light. The back is unmarked, but there are two concentric circles embossed. The plates measure 6.25” in diameter. Condition : No chips, cracks, repairs or crazing. There are some marks on the empty field of the plate, but many are parts of the floral design.
