My birthday is in February and when my mother would see secondhand amethyst glass she would buy it for me since my birthstone was amethyst. I love this piece with the simple lines. It is one she found for me. I believe it is considered handkerchief style and could be Viking glass. I attempted to do my research and went down the glass making rabbit hole for over an hour. I am no expert except to me it is a lovely classic piece with an applied handle. My daughters do not have a desire for it, and to keep it from ending up at damaged at a thrift store, I am putting it up for sale.
