This is an early Stanley Super-Vac Thermos N944 from the late 1930's - mid 1940's. The condition is very good with original natural cork and bright polished chrome. The hammered gray paint has nicks but still displays well- see photos The inner surface looks good. There are detailed engraved instructions on the base explaining how to pre-warm, pre-cool and clean the thermos. Also engraved is Stanley Super-Vac "It will not break" Landers, Frary & Clark, New Britain, Conn. Made in U. S. A. Stanley Insulating Div. This one pre-dates a decal. Measures about 11" tall.
