This elegant oval box features thick, curved bevelled glass panels set into a heavily detailed gilt brass/bronze filigree metal frame. The hinged lid opens to reveal a velvet-lined interior base. The box rests on ornate feet.  Material: Gilt Metal / Brass (Ormolu) & Beveled Glass  Shape: Oval with curved side panels  Dimensions: Approx. 7" in length/width (base measurement) and 4.5" in height.  Condition Notes: Good overall vintage condition with light wear consistent with age. Please note: 3 of the 5 feet have been previously repaired using epoxy/glue on the underside As a result of the repairs, the box sits slightly unevenly on a flat surface, but it remains fully functional and displays beautifully.
