Pair of vintage Chinese cloisonné covered jars in the "ginger jar" (temple jar) form — copper or brass bodies with wire-cloisonné decoration on a black ground: yellow chrysanthemums, pink-and-white magnolia blossoms, a small blue bird, and gilt bronze rims, lids, and finials, with the classic turquoise enamel lining the interior and base. They stand about 8.5 inches tall with lids on. These are probably of the mass-produced export cloisonné that came out of Chinese workshops (Beijing/Guangzhou area factories) from roughly the 1970s through the 1990s for the Western decorative market. Both are in excellent condition.
