The design is also signed with the Fragonard signature. Many knockoffs do not have the signature and the images are obviously not the famous lovers. The Limoges signature is at the bottom. There is a tiny chip in the foot of the box that does not diminish from its appearance. This beautiful VINTAGE Limoges Trinket Box is beautifully done with the famous Fragonard lovers.  The design is also signed with the Fragonard signature. Many knockoffs do not have the signature and the images are obviously not the famous lovers. The trinket box measures about 4 1/2" in diameter and about 2 1/2" all. The Limoges signature is at the bottom. There is a tiny chip in the foot of the box that does not diminish from its appearance. Because this was well used and well loved, the gold rim does show some slight wear.  The Fragonard Trinket box came from an estate. Please see the pictures for details.
