NOTE:  White spots are due to reflective surface and camera lens.  Great pair of older vintage Mexican sterling silver earrings in the form of curled leaf having a pretty amethyst cabochon at the base of leaf.  Beautiful coloring in stones, not full of inclusions, and in natural silver patina.  Silversmith mark is a 3 initial one which is located on the pad where screw back hits, I cannot get a good enough view to make it out.  Possibly MHR, MHA or maybe MHM, just not sure.  Text surrounding no doubt reads Made in Mexico, Sterling or 925.  Guaranteed sterling and authentic amethyst.  Good quality construction and classic Mexican sterling pattern.  VERY pretty.   I gave these a light polish, and leave any further polishing to the new owner if desired. In beautiful pre-owned vintage condition.  Very minor age appropriate surface wear, nothing excessive.  1 earring has a short line opening in silver at a fold in pattern, which is found when searching.  Can be seen in close up pics, not obvious in normal use.   Amethyst stones great, no chips or cracks, may be very minor scratching on them.  Screw backs work as they should. Screw arms have slightly different orientation on back, minor difference and appears original.   See all pics and full item description. Measures approx. just over 1-1/4" t. x 3/4" w. overall, amethyst cabochons approx. 5/16" across and are set in deep bezels.
