They have DIVIDED backs. 5 Bells & Churches New Year Antique Postcards, EMB, Gold / Silver Trim. GLITTER This is a nice selection of NEW YEAR postcards that are ANTIQUE from the early 1900s, and they all have GLITTER in the designs.  This mixture is colorful and has the classic New Year motifs such as: BELLS, SNOWY HOME & RURAL SCENES, HOLLY & BERRIES, FLOWERS, SUNSETS, HORSESHOE, FRIENDSHIP MESSAGES, etc. The postcards are nicely drawn, and they have good detail that makes them pleasing to look at. These are EMBOSSED postcards with 2 having GOLD TRIM, and one having SILVER TRIM in the design.  They were made by different publishers.       These are good postcards to add to a collection.  They would appeal to collectors because of their age, their colorful and attractive nature, and the way they capture life back in the early 1900s. Overall, a nice selection of antique New Year postcards that have Glitter in the design.       The postcards are UNPOSTED (4) and POSTED (1) with a cancel in the 1907 era.  These postcards would have been "Printed in Germany" during the "Golden Age of Postcards" (1908-1915 era).  They have DIVIDED backs.   These are BETTER POSTCARDS and good for a collector. The postcards will keep their value!   They are in good condition.   Regarding condition, please note that we try to remove damaged postcards from our lots, and only sell those postcards that are worth having in a collection.    However, because of their age, please expect some creases, cuts, stains, and edge wear on the postcards.     We do not want you to be disappointed.
