We clean & disinfect inside & out, top to bottom. We tone & condition our shoes with high quality leather conditioner to restore moisture & maintain suppleness in the leather. We polish the shoes two or three times as needed, and finally apply sole dressing completing the restoration. As for our ties, we simply do not list any tie with any flaw or blemish at all -- if it's a matter of doubt, we throw it out. Example of flawed ties: ties that have stains, the smell of cigarettes, discoloration, pulls in the fabric, loss of shape, thinning from wear, no identifying brand labels, holes, tears, or rips. In our world, all such flaws are fatal flaws and we chose not to list them at all. We 're not perfect, but that's our goal.  We are proud of our footwear & our ties & we stand behind them 100%.
