In any event this is quite a pleasing photo. There are a number of faint bends at the bottom right corner. These don't show up when viewed straight on. But, they show up when viewed at an angle in bright light. Original circa 1870's-1880's tintype of two men in military style uniforms wearing fancy plumed hats. We have not yet been able to figure out whether these two guys are wearing military or lodge uniforms. In any event this is quite a pleasing photo. Measures 3 5/8 inches by 2 1/2 inches. There are a number of faint bends at the bottom right corner. These don't show up when viewed straight on. But, they show up when viewed at an angle in bright light. Also, there is a thin line of minor surface loss of emulsion at the right edge. This interesting photo came from an old Pennsylvania collection of tintypes which was formed over several decades.
