CONDITION/DESCRIPTION > Condition: Pre-owned / Vintage > * Overall Condition: This is a beautiful, hand-pieced vintage quilt in a striking Lone Star pattern. It is structurally sound with no major rips or holes but there are a few pieces where the threads have pulled loose (as shown in the photos). > * Markings on Backing: The reverse side of the quilt (solid cream fabric) features original blue quilter's pencil guides, which were used to map out the stitching design. > * PAINT/STAINS on the front are small droplets which are barely noticeable (as shown in the photos provided). > * Paint/Stains: There are localized paint stains and dark markings on the backing fabric, as shown in the detailed close-up photos. > * Notes: These larger imperfections are on the underside and do not affect the display quality of the front of the quilt. > * This quilt is being sold as-found to preserve the vintage integrity. This is a finished, lightweight quilt. It features a hand-pieced Lone Star top with a solid cream backing. Please note that the original quilter's pencil guides are still visible on the backing (see photos), which is common in vintage handmade pieces that were never heavily laundered.
