Up for sale is a beautiful, handcrafted Mexican folk art La Catrina skeleton figurine standing right at 13 inches tall. ​Made in the traditional cartonería (papier-mâché) style, this Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) piece features incredible detail from head to toe. She is dressed to impress in a vibrant, metallic blue ruched gown with a glossy lacquer finish, a matching wide-brimmed hat overflowing with soft blue feathers, and a classic wrapped feather boa. BOOKS: I am, again, a reseller and not a dealer or grader of books. I'll describe and photograph as best I can and as accurately as I can, but I am no authority on accurately grading books to a professional's standards. This will mean that they show normal wear and tear, but are very readable. Not intended for collectors, only readers. Full photos will still be provided.) VHS Tapes: "What does play tested mean?" Play tested means that I fully fast forward and rewind every tape to make sure they do so as expected, with no issues. I think play the tape from start, through to just after the title screen, to see how it plays from start. I think fast forward and stop to play every 15 minutes or so of the tape; At which point I will play the tapes for a few minutes and watch for any issues/judge playback quality. I do this throughout the length of the tape to ensure consistency. When it comes to VHS tapes and VCRs, so many different factors can make a given tape perform differently on different VCRs and/or televisions. Generally, the picture quality of a VHS tape will be far better on a CRT than a flat panel. I test on a flat panel. By all logic, it the picture is great on my flat panel, it should be excellent on your CRT. VCRs, on the other hand, can get oddly temperamental with specific tapes and not others and many different issues inherent to a VCR can cause issues with the playback of some tapes but not others. I will test all of my tapes well and I will always be honest about the results of said testing. If the tape shows an issue on my end, I will include this issue in my item description. If you purchase a tape from me and you run into an issue that I did not mention in my item description, please, BEFORE TRYING TO RETURN THE TAPE, test the tape in another VCR first, as there is a 99% chance that the issue is the VCR and not the tape as I have, again, fully tested said tape and random issues almost never just spontaneously present with VHS tapes in the perjod of a couple of days of non-use. If you test the tape on a second unit and the problem still presents, I will happily accept your return request and offer my apologies for the malfunction. Those spontaneously occuring issues with VHS tapes are very rare, but they DO sometimes happen. If I fail to address anything about a given tape/case that you want to know, ask!
