If the band is an expansion, I'll show you a picture of how many notches it can expand. Pay attention to the wrist size if watch is shown on the sizing cone. The numbers are above the lines, so if it is 6 1/2" you'd see it sitting on a line and then see below 6 3/4" and see the line for 6 3/4". You won't see the size of the line it is on. That's why I take another picture of the cone without the watch. If you go back and forth between the two pictures, you'll see better what I mean. The mat in the pictures has 1" squares with dots at 1/4" intervals and dashes on the perimeter at 1/8" intervals. My understanding is that solar powered watches use a rechargeable battery which is also called a "rechargeable watch cell capacitor." These can last 10-15 years or more but may someday need to be replaced. The replacement cost is a little more than a battery because it is a specialized type. You can find them on eBay or Amazon. I've looked at the price for these and the capacitors cost about $12-$14 more than a standard $1 watch battery, but the effort to change it should be about the same. So, all of this is to say that the watch is currently holding a charge and running and keeping time well, and should you need a battery/capacitor replacement at some point in its future, don't worry, it's not a big challenge.
