This particular model (known as the Flathead, Model No. 834) was produced in the 1960’s. This particular model (known as the Flathead, Model No. 834) was produced in the 1960’s. One of the pegs pops out for refilling the salt and the bottom has a spot for refilling pepper. CONDITION : Both mechanisms have been tested and work fine, but pepper and salt have been emptied for shipping purposes. Overall condition of surface is very good with only a few, light, artificial scratches or marks. All would likely disappear with a little bit of special conditioning / oiling specifically used for blonde wood. I have provided up close photos of any possible flaws. The bottom has some wear but also could just use a conditioner for touch up. MEASUREMENTS : This Quistgaard model measures 5.5 inches tall. The base diameter is 2.5 inches wide, and the width from one end of peg to the other end of peg is approximately 3.5 inches.
