Set/3 VTG Christmas Classics Romanian Glass Ornaments European Hand Decorated in Box Beautiful vintage Christmas Classics set of 3 hand-decorated glass Christmas ornaments , created by European craftsmen and made in Romania for Commodore Mfg. Corp. of Brooklyn, New York.   This elegant boxed set includes three substantial blown-glass ornaments in coordinating ivory, gold, silver, and red tones: Two ivory/champagne matte glass ornaments with pointed teardrop bottoms Hand-painted gold flourishes and leaf accents Silver and gold glitter starburst/floral designs Small red glitter accents at the centers of the flowers One satin silver elongated teardrop ornament Raised, dimensional silver microbead/glitter scrollwork forming an ornate ribbon-and-scroll design Traditional metal caps and hanging loops The combination of frosted finishes, hand-applied decoration, dimensional glitter work, and unusual shapes gives this set a distinctly elegant European vintage look. The ornaments display beautifully together and would work especially well with traditional, Victorian-inspired, Old World, metallic, or neutral Christmas décor. Based on the packaging and styling, the set appears to date approximately to the 1980s–early 1990s . Condition -  Excellent vintage condition overall. All three glass ornaments are intact with no cracks or breaks . The hand-applied glitter and decorative work remain attractive and display well. There is some minor age-related cosmetic wear to the silver teardrop, including scattered light surface marks and minor decoration/finish loss. The ivory ornaments have very light scattered surface wear consistent with age. The original box shows considerable vintage storage wear , including rubbing, discoloration, scuffs, creasing, edge and corner wear, and some distortion.
