View Vintage Antique YALE Mortise Door Lock #778 777 737 Heavy Duty READ & see VIDEO with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. So I simply took the cover up for photos but didn't move anything beyond that. I did notice the one round "button" like piece in photo 8 was not centered. When I opened it up I noticed it moves easily and I'm thinking it might be broken where it is supposed to connect to the other piece (photo 12/13 & video). Antique Vintage Early 20th Century 1900-1930's YALE Mortise Door Lock ~ Heavy Duty ~ Number 778 I'll start by saying I am not knowledgeable on how these locks work but a previous eBay collector suggested I show the insides as that helps with identifying it. So I simply took the cover up for photos but didn't move anything beyond that. I did notice the one round "button" like piece in photo 8 was not centered. Again I'm not 100% sure on this but that's my take on it. I also tried to take pictures of all the numbers I saw on the inside (777, 737, 738, 778) Natural aged patina, scratches, aged dust.   See photo for measurements.
