This item was originally sold in an open display in an assortment with other Sanrio characters.&nbsp; Due to the packaging and the delicate nature of the collectible, these eggs are INCREDIBLY hard to find, especially unused.&nbsp; This one is in excellent condition.&nbsp; There are no cracks or damage, only two tiny holes at the base that were drilled during manufacture to allow water to seep into the egg to cause the character to expand.&nbsp;&nbsp; These were only sold to gift shops and toy stores in the US that held an account with Sanrio.&nbsp; It harkens back to a golden age of Sanrio in the US when quality was excellent and highly imaginative designs were produced monthly, quarterly, and for holidays.
