The earrings remain very pretty and have substantial visual impact. Beautiful vintage articulated statement clip-on earrings featuring clear glass/crystal rhinestones in a dramatic layered cascade design. Each earring is constructed with multiple articulated sections incorporating elongated marquise/navette-shaped clear stones surrounded and accented by smaller clear round rhinestones. The sections move independently, giving the earrings wonderful movement, dimension and sparkle. The rhinestones are set in a dark gunmetal / blackened silver-tone base-metal setting that provides striking contrast against the clear stones. An old handwritten dealer tag accompanying the earrings is marked “B.S.” The earrings themselves are unsigned, and the maker has not been confirmed.
