The seated figure wears an elaborate towering headdress and features incised facial markings, dimensional jewelry, decorative arm bands and a richly detailed garment. The earthy terracotta is accented with softly aged cream, gray-green and red pigments, giving the piece a wonderfully authentic, collected look. From the expressive pose to the intricate headdress and ornamentation, there is something interesting to see from every angle.
