DESCRIPTION: Spectacular vintage clear rhinestone jewelry ensemble featuring two necklaces and one pair of dramatic clip-on earrings. The longer, cascading necklace and earrings are signed WEISS on the earrings in plain block letters without a copyright symbol. The other necklace is signed and coordinates beautifully. All three pieces are offered together as one glamorous early-1950s ensemble. The set includes: -Unsigned WEISS statement necklace with marquise and round clear rhinestones, a large central pear-shaped stone, and an articulated cascading fringe pendant that matches the earrings. It has an adjustable hook closure and measures a little over 14 inches at its longest setting. -Signed coordinating collar-style necklace with marquise rhinestones, a striking floral or sunburst centerpiece, and a clasp closure. It measures approximately 15 inches long. -Signed WEISS clip-on earrings with articulated rhinestone fringe and marquise drops. Each earring measures approximately 2 1/2 inches long. The brilliant clear rhinestones are prong-set in bright silver-tone metal. The articulated construction gives the pendant and earrings wonderful movement and sparkle. A fabulous example of mid-century Hollywood glamour. The plain block-letter WEISS mark without a copyright symbol is associated with early Weiss jewelry. Circa 1950s.
