Type: Nativity Set. Condition Vintage pre-owned condition with visible age-related wear. Figures show scattered paint loss, rubbing, scuffs, small chips and surface marks. Baby Jesus has noticeable paint wear to the face. One Wise Man has a chip/loss to the upper portion of his gold headpiece/crown. Other small areas of paint and surface loss are present throughout. At least two pieces retain original gold MADE IN ITALY paper labels on the underside. Please review all photographs carefully for individual condition. Figures have not been repainted or restored. Description Wonderful vintage 7-piece Italian Nativity figure set, featuring colorful hand-painted figures with molded green grass bases and gold-accented details. The grouping includes: 1. Virgin Mary 2. Saint Joseph 3. Baby Jesus in manger 4. Three Wise Men / Magi 5. Shepherd carrying a sheep The figures have expressive molded faces, richly colored robes and extensive hand-painted detailing. Several pieces feature metallic gold accents, particularly the Three Wise Men. Original gold foil MADE IN ITALY labels remain on the undersides of multiple pieces, confirming Italian manufacture. These appear to be older molded composition-type Nativity figures rather than modern ceramic figurines. Based on their construction and styling, they appear consistent with mid-20th-century Italian Nativity production, likely circa the 1950s–1960s. Exact maker and production date are unknown.
