This is an antique Appalachian wisk broom. Maybe from Georgia. My mother collected brooms for years. This was always hanging in our house 45+ years I can confirm. It is made from broom corn and has a darker oak splint wrap. Mint condition. Very old. 20” long. Nice hook handle. They don’t last like this anymore. A few stray strands but tight as can be.
