Vintage Josef Morton Pink Rhinestone Beaded Flower Clip Earrings Signed 1960s Beautiful and scarce vintage Josef Morton signed clip-on earrings, dating to approximately the early 1960s. These dimensional floral earrings feature elaborate hand-wired glass seed-bead clusters in shades of ruby red, rose pink and pale/smoky pink, arranged like petals around sparkling pink prong-set rhinestones. A larger faceted pink rhinestone forms the center of each flower, surrounded by smaller coordinating stones. The workmanship is particularly attractive, with multiple layers of beadwork mounted over gold-tone openwork settings. The construction strongly reflects the elaborate hand-wired jewelry tradition associated with Miriam Haskell, which is especially appropriate given Josef Morton Glasser’s connection to the Haskell company and Frank Hess.
