This is for a nice lot of Nicholson files. I am not going to attempt to get the one out of the handle to find out what that is. They all appear to be used, but it appears that they still have life in them. This is for a nice lot of Nicholson files. All of the files except the one in the handle are Nicholson brand. I am not going to attempt to get the one out of the handle to find out what that is. The flat files don’t appear like they have been used very much for the most part but a couple of them are showing a good bit of surface rust. I assume they can be cleaned up fairly well yet though. The big 14 inch looks unused for the most part and it does have one little spot of rust, but that is the best condition file of all of them. There is a 12 inch and that is showing the most rust and it has been used I can tell. I am no expert so I couldn’t tell you how much life it has left in it. There are 210 inch and one of them appears to be lightly used and the other one is used with the rust going on so it will need to be cleaned. There is an 8 inch that has been used and doesn’t look terrible. The 6 inch has been used but again doesn’t look terrible. Just some rest to be cleaning up. There are five little triangle files and there will be some of the rust on those as well. They all appear to be used, but it appears that they still have life in them. One of them appears to have the tip broken off. I am also throwing in four handles. One I cannot see a makers mark on. To our lutz and the other is disston. There is another handle with the file in it, and that says the lauber on it and it appears to be fairly old. As I said, I am no expert on tools, but they appear to be in working condition to me, especially the 14 inch and as I said after a good cleaning, they will probably look pretty decent.
