It is stitched on linen using Weeks Dye Works subtly variegated floss. The picture features the sentiment..."Summer" with a very long-legged bird and a large flower. The picture is accented with a bee button. The dark brown wooden frame is approx. 5.5 inches by 8 inches. The frame was custom made by an Amishman in the heart of Pennsylvania at East Side Frames.  The back of the frame has hardware on it so that it be hung on the wall. This would be wonderful for a gift or treat yourself!!  It would look beautiful in your country home. You will be pleased with the workmanship...I have been cross stitching for 40+ years.
